A simple program to monitor heartbeat signals from multiple programs. The heartbeat messages are LAN broadcast UDP packets. The monitored programs can either be local to the machine or remote on the LAN. You can also use this to detect operating system crashes.

This program demonstrates the use of the library from a standard Windows application.

A here is an actual alarm. The program is dumb and doesn't know about weekends. It noticed that the market should be open but there is no data flowing. What you can't see is that it is also playing a 5 second siren alarm sound every 60 seconds.

And a click later, all is quiet and the app will wait until it see some further activity on the port before it will trigger another alarm.
